Coincident with the retirement of co-founder Brian Lipford, Key Tech announces the expansion of its Executive Committee to include four veterans of the company. Joining the committee are Alex Flamm, VP of Strategy, Andy Rogers, VP of Business Development, Ben Lane, VP of Engineering, and Brian Murphy, VP of People. They join co-founders Jenny Regan, CEO, and Scott Corey, VP of Product Development, to continue the strategic leadership and long-term planning for the company. Each new member brings unique skills:
Alex Flamm – VP of Strategy
Since joining Key Tech in 2007, Alex has contributed to improvements across Key Tech operations. While mainly serving as a design team member and then Project and Program Manager, he has also helped establish Key Tech’s Usability Engineering program, bolstered its Industrial Design program, and negotiated critical staff resourcing across projects while ensuring rich opportunities for staff development. On the Executive Committee, Alex will continue to create and drive strategic initiatives across Key Tech’s leadership team, ensuring Key Tech people, processes, and facilities support continued growth and success.
Andy Rogers – VP of Business Development
Andy has been with Key Tech for 15 years, initially as a Mechanical Engineer and Project Manager, before transitioning to business development. For the past 8 years, he has been responsible for sales and marketing at the company, leading growth in market sectors like pharmaceutical systems and at key in-vitro diagnostic and medical device customer accounts. His focus on the Executive Committee will be strategic business development, positioning Key Tech to ensure a diverse portfolio of impactful projects at the forefront of healthcare.
Ben Lane – VP of Engineering
Ben joined Key Tech in 2000 with a background in physics and mechanical engineering and 7 years of prior experience in design and analysis. He has contributed in some way to nearly all development programs since Key Tech’s inception, as an engineer, project manager, and technical advisor. On the Executive Committee Ben will continue to mentor our extraordinary staff, grow and expand Key Tech’s technical capabilities, and maintain the exceptional work product for which Key Tech is known in the industry.
Brian Murphy – VP of People
With a journey of almost 20 years at Key Tech, Brian wears many hats across engineering and operational roles. Building from an engineering and design background, he has contributed to projects through detailed and clever mechanical design as well as project leadership and program management. Brian has led Key Tech’s recruiting activities for over 10 years, bringing outstanding performers to build our growing team. As part of the Executive Committee, Brian will help guide all aspects of Key Tech recruiting processes, employee on-boarding and development, employee benefits, and making sure that Key Tech continues to be a company that sparks joy in our employees.
Jenny Regan, CEO remarked “I am so pleased to welcome these experienced leaders to our executive team. All have contributed substantially already, and exemplify an attitude of service to our employee-owners and to our client community.” Congrats to the new Executive Committee members!
