15 Dec Key Tech Announces Plans for Expansion into Adjoining Building
Key Tech is excited to announce a multi-year lease that will expand the company’s existing footprint into an adjacent historic building. Plans are in the works for a contiguous workspace, enabling continued, steady growth for many years to come.
The new space at 1024 Light Street, originally built as a primary school almost 100 years ago, will be annexed to Key Tech’s existing theater space. It will be immediately used for ad-hoc project needs such as prototyping and testing. Longer-term, the new space is being designed to complement the theater, creating a holistic environment. Key Tech is working with local Baltimore architect, Quinn Evans on the project.
“After considering many expansion options, it was clear that we wanted our team to stay together in one working space. It’s so important to our team to have an inspirational, cohesive workspace. Combining these two historic spaces achieves that and supports our long-term growth plans, and allows our company to remain in the vibrant Federal Hill neighborhood.” – Jenny Regan, CEO
