He emphasized the importance of early, low-cost prototyping to de-risk core technologies, validate user needs, and impress investors—not with polished but premature designs, with evidence of strategic decision-making. Using real-world examples, Will walked through the spectrum of prototype fidelity, from sketch models to alpha and beta builds, highlighting when to invest in aesthetics, usability, or performance testing. The key takeaway: continuously ask, “What is the minimum viable product at this stage?” to stay agile, reduce risk, and maximize impact.
