Lei has been in the embedded hardware field since 2004, focusing on firmware design and development. She has experience developing applications for various Real Time Operating Systems (RTOS) on several hardware platforms.

Lei received a BS in Electrical Engineering, a BS in Computer Science, and a MS in Computer Engineering, from the University of Maryland.
